Pihu Movie Review
A real story based on an unfortunate incident that puts a 2-year-old girl in a very difficult situation. The story makes us very weak by seeing the screenplay. It gives you goosebumps when you realize that a small girl has gone through this situation. The small girl gets totally disconnected from the outside world and for reasons help is not available.
Myra Vishwakarma’s acting in this movie is so real, It doesn’t even give a hint that it is an act. Because of the dysfunctional relationship between the parents, Pihu is trapped in a tragedic situation and left all alone by herself. The movie is all about the acting of Myra and how she gets us connected with her. The consequences of her parents’ relationship are the reason for her situation.
The movie lays emphasis on the impact of domestic violence/dysfunctional relationships can have on children and how people in a big city don’t really care. The film does manage to give their message which is heart touching.
Vinod Kapri’s direction in this movie is good. The movie is a bit slow paced and scary as you never know what’s coming your way. We should give credits to the Director for visualizing the screenplay in his way and showcasing it to us.
- The child actor’s natural acting.
- Vinod Kapri’s amazing direction.
- Minimum number of dialogues.
- A bit slow paced movie.
- Lack of songs in the movie.
