Ashok Selvan has shown praiseworthy acting and correctly suits the role of a naïve mediocre guy wearing average clothes, with a pair of old-fashioned spectacles, oiled hair, etc. Priya Anand’s role is something similar to what she described in Ethir Neechal. Nevertheless, the pretty actress in solid role scores in most parts of the movie. Samudharkani as normal proves his versatility in limited screen space, although what he does to support Ashok Selvan looks idealistic. Bala Saravanan is in full form and he produces laughter with his funny healthy one-liners.
The first half moves in a light-hearted way with campus life and the romance of a mediocre man and anyone can attach with it. The proceedings achieve momentum just before the break. The second half travels in a separate direction with the movie completing with a socially suitable message although these scenes give a documentary feel.
